Northern Star Generation
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Northern Star Generation (NSG) is a leading owner and operator of power generation facilities in the US with a large long-term contracted portfolio. We acquired a 50% ownership stake in NSG in November 2007. NSG owns, or has beneficial interests in, 7 power generation facilities across Nevada, Florida and Pennsylvania. The facilities typically provide stable, predictable revenue streams that are diversified in terms of revenue sources, geography, customer base, fuel type and technology. The combined (net) generating capacity of the portfolio is about 1,120 megawatts.
