Collgar Wind Farm
Located in Western Australia, Collgar is one of Australia’s largest wind farms providing clean, renewable electricity and renewable energy certificates. We acquired a 60% ownership stake in the development in March 2010 and successfully completed construction and commenced operation in 2012. Collgar is connected to the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) and has a long term agreement with Synergy, the largest energy retailer in the state, for the sale of energy, green certificates and capacity. Collgar has generation capacity of 206 megawatts delivered by 111 turbines supplied by Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturer.
